PERSONAL TESTIMONY

What difference does SHEVA Mission make?

It all started around 2:00 am, the night of 5th June 2013, when suddenly I heard a voice saying, ‘The Sacred Heart of Evangelization.’ I woke up immediately and wrote down the message. My restlessness in desiring to know the nature of my call, identity, and mission in the Church was lifted. Meanwhile, I was conducting retreats and other spiritual programs within Meru Diocese. Previously, my spiritual journey had been reawakened by a deep personal encounter with God’s miraculous healing power when I was desperately sick in March 1999. A voice commanded me to speak to the sickness. I declared to the sickness that I belonged to Jesus of whom it made to suffer in me. Amazingly, the sickness left and I was completely healed.

Hearing of “The Sacred Heart of Evangelization”, was so enlightening that my whole being delved into the search of its meaning. While on a pilgrimage to Uganda in June 2014, I met a pilgrim from India named Mr. George Ceetly – the founder of the Fiat Missionaries. As we conversed, he was exhilarated to learn that I was working with Fiat Missionaries in Kenya. He offered a warm invitation for a visit to India. I received his invitation letter on 27th September 2014, and honored it in November 2014.

My visit to India crystalized the reality of the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I learned that it was a form of consecration to Christ’s love welling up with profound openness to the Word of God (promises), active faith that honors God, love that faces dangers, hope that perseveres adversities, and the power that witnesses divine life. It was demonstrated by some Fiat missionaries, who approached me for blessings ahead of their three months’ mission to the Northern part of India. They claimed that coming back alive was all by God’s grace. Their joy in God’s presence was so fascinating. From this experience, I discovered the fountain of divine life in Christ’s love.

About SHEVA

My Personal experience with Jesus took me by great surprise in March 1999 while I was undergoing a serious health crisis. At the lowest ebb in my life, the Lord healed me..... Read More
